{"id":1832,"date":"2010-04-14T21:48:32","date_gmt":"2010-04-14T20:48:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.petestack.com\/blog\/?p=1832"},"modified":"2025-07-21T13:30:20","modified_gmt":"2025-07-21T12:30:20","slug":"great-conditions-for-hill-running","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.petestack.com\/blog\/great-conditions-for-hill-running.html","title":{"rendered":"Great conditions for hill running"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Must be about a week of dry, spring weather we&#8217;ve had now, and those hill tracks and paths below the retreating snowline all seem to be in just about optimum running condition.<!--more--> So tonight I headed up to Loch Eilde Mor via the Grey Mare&#8217;s, then over Meall na Cruaidhe to the Dam and back by the Ciaran Path to give me a very runnable 11.9 mile circuit with great views all round but especially towards the Grey Corries (still holding fair quantities of snow), two Buachailles and more distant Schiehallion.
